Looking for a new car
City:
WBL
State:
MN
It's time to start looking for something new. Anything I look at will need to have a clear matching title in your name. Looking for a turnkey car, something I can get in and drive across country with no problems and be comfortable in. I have the 29 Coupe in my avatar for around town & short distances. Like the traditional look with reliable drive train. OHV V8 power preferred, but not a deal breaker if it is a nicely moded, reliable flathead. Would prefer something close to Minnesota, but would consider traveling for the right car. Not a deal breaker, but prefer an automatic. Must be rust free. No projects.
So here is what I'm looking for. 1935 to 1941 coupe. Mostly looking at Ford, but will consider other brands. 1932 - 1964 convertible. Will consider most any brand. Something cool, something different. 1932-1934 coupe or sedan I would consider other cars if you have something that doesn't fit the above guides, but you think is absolutely rare or cool. Aw hell, maybe even a custom. Worst I can do is say no. Let me know what you have. Trying to stay with a $30,000 max budget. Last edited by gonzomn; 11-27-2012 at 07:44 AM. |

Re: Looking for a new car
Gonzo, I was just at my friend Daryl's place today, and he has a nice selection
of different models of cars. Here is a link below, and there are about 14 pages to look through. As you probably know, he is in Watertown, MN. Good Luck, Lanny http://hookedonclassics.com/cars/category/all.html .

Re: Looking for a new car
Winter is upon us. Still looking to buy, but not looking to travel too much to get a car.
What do you have? |

Re: Looking for a new car
Had a couple offers for some real nice cars. The 35 Cabriolet & the 32 5 window.
Both cars that I would love to have, but I need to remind people that the ad says my budget is $30K. I could maybe push to $35K, but no more. Thanks, Scott Found one Got it home just before the snow started. Last edited by gonzomn; 12-07-2012 at 11:15 PM. |
