I could use some pics of the hood lacing around the grill (34 car) to help me install the new kit I have. I know, I should have taken pics of the original lace! Please and Thank you Ken

I couldn't find a photo that shows the whole grille but wouldn't it just follow the mounting holes that are in the grille?

Ken, this is all I have of my 34...hope it helps. I have seen 'original' fitted lace on grilles that has been cut at the top into 2 pieces...looked untidy! When I did mine, I folded it over. It fits well and looks tidy.

Yes cargguybill, but I seem to remember it was one continuous piece on each side and there is no way this lace I have will make the bend up around the radiator cap area. Ken

fordscript, do you have a pic of the fold? My lace seems to stiff to fold over flat enough .

This should help the lacing is cut into four pieces 2 long pieces down each side of the radiator shell and two short pieces on the top of the radiator shell.

Corona you put salt on the rim with a wedge of lime just to make it taste better! You should be drinking Speight's now thats a Beer and I'II bet that your grandfather consumed Speight's Gordon! :-)

Steve, how do you know about Speights 'Gold Medal ale'? Yes it is a good beer, and my Grandfather did drink it. It's brewed about 70 miles down the road from where I live.

Steve And fordscript, thank you both! fordscript it looks like you tucked the bottom of the lace in that rectangle slot just before the last mounting hole true? You bet I would buy you both Corona's , hell I would throw some steak on the barbie too! I owe ya both. Great pics. Ken

Gordon its my worldly beer travels when I was much younger, now I have a beer on a hot day and now mostly imbibe in red wine also sometimes New Zealand wines.
