Default Ford Australia Badge

I know Ford badges are not so popular on FB, but I wonder if any collectors of such have any from Australia? Reason I ask, is that recently some have come up for sale outside Australia ; worried that someone has produced some fakes!
I got mine from Geelong, Victoria, Aust. but noticed that is has newish replating & a modern type clasp pin. It has the Melbourne makers stamp on the rear & the badge itself is flat, unlike the Nth American ones which are curved.
Any information concerning these Australian badges would be welcome.
The round badge is from the New Zealand Seaview Plant, probably dating from 1950's & worn by Ford Exec.'s, not plant workers.
