Yup - stock; I was planning on checking the points again next - in the other thread, the suggestion was made to "Check to be sure that your fixed point in the distributor is tight after the locking screw is tightened. I had a problem with my fixed point block which allowed the fixed point to be turn and move around even thought the locking screw was tight."

Thanks - might as well get two birds with one stone while I'm digging around in there.

Im down here in El Cajon. I dont really get up there. But near me in santee is "old cars and parts" Hank is a wealth of knowledge and can help you out.
