The springs you need, I believe, differ between cars produced early- or late-1936.

IS there significant difference in the two colors? I assume one is stouter than the other one, as they appear to be the same in the pics....tnx, Al

I think I might have some of each. I'll try to find them in the morning and let you know.

Do you know how to identify your car as being an early or late car?

Al,
The first pic is from a Chassis Engineering catalog and is a drawing showing the differences between early & late '36 frames. If the body of your car has not been removed and put on another frame in the last 75 years, then you can climb under your car and look at the back end of the frame rail to see which shape it has and match it to the drawing.

The second pic shows the door handle latch assembly from my early-'36 coupe, which has the yellow spring. Laying next to it, is a red spring for a late-'36. I have some loose early-'36 springs laying around, but I must have put them in a place so that I wouldn't lose them............and now, I lost them!!
Hope all this helps,
-Bob
