Default In case you were thinking of adding a radio to your car

I was perusing ebay, and saw this Crosley CR-82 up for auction (currently no bids, starting bid is $25).

It runs off of 4 AA batteries, so I suppose you could, theoretically, wire it into the car's power (assuming you are running the correct 6V)

I like to play 1920s-1940s music (mp3s through a FM transmitter) on mine when the mood hits.

The problem with those repro Crosley radios is they don't have any tubes, and they are foreign made. Here is my solution. Made in the USA, and all tube. Also has a removable antenna that sticks to the window with suction cups and helps keep the Model A ignition system from drowning out all the available stations. It's only 20 years newer than the Model A.

Uses 4 "D" batteries in parallel for the A supply and 60 (yes, sixty) "AA" in series for the B+ supply.
