Default 32 PU and 5 window parts.

Got an e-mail from Dave at United Pacific and he is in the home stretch making new 32/34 pu doors and hinges, 32 & 33/34 pu rear fenders, and a 32 commercial grille shell. The 5 window top tack strip will be available in early Feb. and is priced at 400.00 and a complete 5 window seat next fall. This may not interest some restorers but some new tin if it's nice will make some happy. Pricing will be interesting???

That's great news. If the PU stuff is priced reasonably, they will sell a bunch of them. I myself could use some of those parts for my 32 & 34 PU's.

Great to hear! Nice to have them in the market and taking on products such as these - there is a LOT of up-front investment and they still are betting on "We'll build it and they will come". Thanks for the news

Yeah - I may just get a 32 tack strip and see if I can rework it for my 34 5 winder. Have yet to find one!

Krylon:
Are you a United Pacific dealer and are you going to York this year? My next project is my high school 32 5w and I need a tack strip.

That is a good news! Damn those parts are so hard to find even online. Been waiting for this!! This will make my restoration project a lot easier. Sometime i try to look for parts at Auto Parts Warehouse but now its tough to find parts from them so i need to find alternatives.

Sorry not a dealer yet. I got my body and parts from Dick Spadaro before he got sick. Sold the UP body and just bought a rough coupe and plan on fixing it with UP parts. If my parts bill gets to high I might take on a dealership as I've checked into it.
