How do I delete or mark a for sale item no longer available? I tried to "edit" the post but had no success.

Could be how long ago the ad was posted. If you can't edit the title you can try editing the posted message itself. That should not bump to the top. If that does not work you as poster can do a reply, that however will bump the ad but will at least show it has been sold. I think you can only delete in the first 24 or 48 hours that ad has been up. Try opening the Go Advanced window to do your edit.
