Default '55 Generator mounting bracket

Can someone post a photo of their '54 or '55 lower generator adjustable bracket mounted on the engine?
Last time I rebuilt my Generator (last fall), I may have improperly installed that bracket. It has a long slotted hole and an offset in the bracket. I can't figure out if I got it upside down, backwards or both. Also, on the end that bolts to the engine, I have that bracket end sandwiched in between the engine block and the front motor mount bracket, but I am positive it was always that way.

This is the diagram straight out of the parts manual. Shows exactly what you should have

If that illustration is accurate, I have the bracket installed upside down and backwards and on the wrong side of the gen front plate. I've got it wrong every possible way it can be. No wonder it doesn't look right

Dave, I just went down to the garage to look at mine (unfortunately my camera phone is without a flash so no pic).

Mine looks like mostly like the diagram, except that part 10145 (bracket with long slotted hole and an angled offset 1/3 way up) is rotated 180 degrees (generator bolted in the long slot). Haven't had any issues with it.

My motor is a '59, but it still has a '55 6V generator on it, so I assume it should be the same setup.
