How about a no volt mechanical tach run off your distributor, crank pulley or back of generator?

Yep. We have done a couple of production runs and I have 7 currently available.
If you need more information, you can contact me here with a PM or email me at "[email protected]". Here's a link to a crude video. I have my '51 Merdc engine on my test stand. It starts with the engine off. The engine is started, the tach comes to life, and then the engine is reved a couple of times, showing the tachometer.
