Model A insurance coverage
If a mouse gets into your car over the winter and eats a hole in the upholstery, is it covered by your comprehensive insurance?

Re: Model A insurance coverage
Yes. It will pay to repair it to a condition just as it was prior to the damage occurring, ...minus deductible.

Re: Model A insurance coverage
I would think so. A call is cheap and fast to your insurer. Have your insurance policy at hand. Most of us have a deductible on the parts/repairs, so you would have to figure out first how bad the damage is and the cost to recover the cushion. Mice usually don't "eat and run". Check for a family buried deeper in your seat cotton/springs.

Hagerty specifically disallows insect damage. I don’t know about rodents.

Re: Model A insurance coverage
Read your policy before calling. I called my homeowners years ago about options to get a tree removed and they counted it as a claim even though I was just asking about coverage...

Re: Model A insurance coverage
Not that it really matters from the other side of the planet but I'd be out of that company quick smart.
