Welcome to the Fordbarn!

You might want to consider placing an ad in the classified, wanted section.

Also, which 36 model do you actually have? Cabriolet, Roadster, Convertible Sedan, or Phaeton.

On my 36 roadster, I just went through and rebuilt all of my top irons since the top was being replaced. I drilled out all the worn pivot points and pressed in oil-lite bronze bushing. I replaced the rivets with (1/4”-20) barrel nuts from McMaster-Carr. The 4 bolts that hold the top irons to the body were originally shoulder bolts and were worn. I ordered aircraft bolts from Aircraft Spruce (AN5C-6A) and used bronze oil-lite bushings for the shoulder on the bolts. The top now works smooth just like it was new. I don’t think there are any reproductions for top irons for 35-36. I hope this helps with your project.
