Mystery Firewall Hole
My 48 super deluxe coupe has a hole in the firewall with no plug, can't figure out what it is used for, should I just plug it up? See photo for location, its the hole between the two wires

Re: Mystery Firewall Hole
On trucks that's where the speedo, choke, and throttle cables come thru.

Re: Mystery Firewall Hole
The light blue one is a 41 and the maroon one is a 42.

Re: Mystery Firewall Hole
Actually my '41 heater doesn't have tubes located in that position(stock 41'48). Mine are about where the lower left tube is and about where the knockout remains below the hole between the wires.
