Default Stromberg 97 Carb Large Logo vs Small Logo

Can someone tell help me understand what the pros/cons of the Large logo 97 Stromberg carb versus the small Logo 97 carb are?

Is the small 97 logo carb worth rebuilding?

Thank You!

Nah, their worthless! Send them to me.

Seriously, I haven’t noticed any differences. But I’m more used to rebuilding model 94’s.

It´s the eyecandy factor that is different...nothing else

If I understand correctly, the small logo 97's were factory. Large logo were sold aftermarket by Stromberg.

Most guys like the large logo for the eye candy factor, but they are the same carb.

It is all about bragging rights . . . nothing to do with the actual function of the carb. I run Stromberg 48's on my 32 - they flow just a bit more than the 97's . . . and there is no "Big Logo" version anyway . . .
