Default 36 Pickup rear shock link

I'm Installing my rear shocks on my 36 pickup today and I needed new rear links since mine were gone. The Green Bible shows both front and back for 36 Pass, Comm as 3". I can't see how these are long enough for the rear? They seem at least an inch short. Since I have the box and cab removed would the lack of weight be the issue? The fronts were no issue just the rear ones have me scratching my head??

Thanks,

Pat

3" is correct for both front and rear links on your 36 pickup if the suspension is original.

Thanks Don! I had a couple of my sons sit on the edge of the frame for weight and the 3" links fit like a glove.
