Default 6volt halogen headlights

any one using halogen 6 volt sealed beams H6006, and are they worth using

I am using them on my "40 Sedan with 6v alternator. Much better beam than the regular headlights, but i don't do a lot of night driving. Had them in for 2 years.

Yes. Replace in pairs 'cause they, like incandescents, dim over time but they're still noticeably brighter than regular.

I couldn't believe the difference. I also run my lights thru a relay activated by the head light switch.

Yes. That's how I run them and they're fine. I just watch the charge gauge when idling and pull the throttle out enough to keep it charging.

Using them on my big truck, plan to get a pair for the panel. They work well.
