Default Floorboard Parts

When I got my '28 Sport Coupe it had new wood floors, but no floor-mat. I bought one, but I realize now that before I put it down I need to replace the seals around the steering column and pedals. How many different parts go into that? I assume the mat goes over all that, but not sure?

Technically there are two basic styles. One is a one-piece rubber that surrounds the pedals and the column and was used pretty much throughout the 1928 model-year. Here is a link to it. The other basic style would be three pieces as there are the two metal pieces and the felts that began with the 1929 model year when the clutch was changed to a single-disc. There are slight variations to both styles but that should get you started.

I don't know if it matters, but my car is probably not an 'early car' as the parking brake is forward of the gearshift.
