Light Switch 1939 Coupe
In the process of changing wiring harness and light switch at lower end of steering column. The old wires and switch at this juncture are covered in oil. What’s the problem here?
Related question-Are the push-on connectors on the new harness sufficient to keep wires in place or should they be soldered? Thanks for your response. Bill |

I always solder wires for best contact / continuity. I suggest you do the same. Especially if you do not intend to fix the leak.

I don't know the pros and cons of the connectors. |
