Default Trailer Dimensions

I am planning on trailering my father's 1931 Model A Cabriolet and would like to use an enclosed trailer. Does anyone know what dimension trailer I might need?

Thanks

I use a 16' which give me a little room to get around for the tie down and some supplies. A 14' would work but is starting to get a little tight. Now this would be for a pickup or coupe. A 2 or 4 door sedan will require more length. I'd suggest trying the trailer out if possible. Take your vehicle and see if they will let you drive it into the trailer.

I use a 16 for my roadster and Town sedan. Plenty of room, with a trunk. The car is only 13 foot.

I have what the manufacturer calls a 18', but that is the rectangular floor space area. It has a V-nose so that space is added. It has a work bench and plenty of room to haul or store stuff in. As whirnot says, 13' is Model A car length, pickups may be longer.

My '28 Coupe and '29 Tudor Sedan are the exact same length.

Look to see if the door opening is high enough. Some trailers will not load your car without letting air out of the tires. I got my trailer 12" taller than normal to clear ever thing and have excessive overhead clearance. A 6" extension might have worked but the adder was cheaper than a new trailer
