Re: Car wash bucket....
It was never "good" vodka back then. Cheap stuff or everclear. I don't do hard liquor anymore. But we never got around to washing the cars back then either. I think once a yr in the spring works for me with my ol' timey cars. Each to their own as they say.

Re: Car wash bucket....
I am also past the age of hard alcohol. Ok, on a very rare occasion I buy a bottle of 'old Grandad', but it lasts a long time and I share it. Beer and wine is plenty powerful for me and I still gotta put in my 40 hours in the wood shop. My old ford addiction is a far more powerful distraction than the distilled spirits could ever be, not to mention the malted hops or fermented grapes. Just don't take away my fords.....

I use hair conditioner as soap on my wife's new Lincoln when I wash it and it hold its shine and water resistance until new wash. Pete/Ct.

For a car wash bucket, ACE hardware sometimes runs a promotion - what ever fits in their 5-gallon pail is 20% off and the bucket is free ..... |

Re: Car wash bucket....
You just might "hear" about this thread on the radio someday.
Mothers, Mequiars...the three stooges & turtle wax. Mixing Vodka and fruit to wash my car...now that sounds like a country song. "I don't do hard liquor anymore" |

Re: Car wash bucket....
I'd be cautious using that, delinquents around here went thru town squirting shampoo on parked cars. It did lots of damage, many re-paints required.
