Default MMO not Model A

There is a recent thread about Marvel Mystery Oil in Model A's and a few references to the detergent qualities of the additive. My question is how would this perform in modern 1990's and newer automobiles with the closer tolerances?

It would have the same detergent effect. Newer cars use high detergent oils so MMO wouldn't necessarily be needed for the detergent effect . As Pete said on the other thread, ATF will have the same detergent effect.
