Default Timing the Petronx ignition

Many moons ago I put the Pertronix ignition in my A. It seems that maybe I'm not getting enough advance with my spark lever and want to go the initial timing. Anything that I should do or do different with the electronic ignition timing?

I've used these pages with some success:

http://www.fordgarage.com/pages/ignitorB.htm

http://www.fordgarage.com/pages/remundpertronix.htm

Mostly for a B, but still useful I think?
