Rear disc brakes ,,, cant get a pedal (help)

Hi guys i have a 35 ford cabriolet ,, just put a 8 inch ford rear in it and a new rear disc brake kit , changed the master ,corvette style ,and rezitual valve ,,, pedal only when we pump it up ,, we bled the master and power bled the system , all we get is clear fluid ,, nothing seems to work ,, any help out there ???????

This is a universal question not unique to the 1935. Some more information is needed to answer your question.
Is the Master Cylinder under the floor and below the wheel cylinders or on the firewall and above the wheel cylinders? This matters for requiring a residual pressure valve. (10 lb for Drums and 2 lbs for Discs)
When you say "rizitual valve", is it a fixed or adjustable proportioning valve or is it a combination valve-like what is on the 60's and 70's GM cars?
Are the bleeders on the new rear wheel cylinders/calipers the highest point and pointed up? If they are pointed down, you cannot bleed the air from the system- even with a power-bleed system.
What brand Master Cylinder did you use? I have had two different brands new out of the box fail to create pressure.
I assume there are no leaks you can see?

You will need an adjustable proportional valve to use front drums and disc rears. Getting that setup to work properly (and safely) without a dual master cylinder is tricky. All master cylinders have a "residual" valve to allow use without having to pump the pedal every time you try to stop. It would be a good idea to also convert the front brakes to disc. "Home brew" brakes can be a ticket to disaster.

what brakes are already on the front. The rear need to match the front quite often you cant alter 1 part . Dont be suprised if you need to change the lot everone is here to help but you cant keep secrets

I have run into this problem twice, once with GM calipers and once with Ford calipers. Both times it was a emergence brake part of the caliper that was not adjusted properly. I bleed the crap out of them, no air what so ever, let it sit for awhile and no pedal! On the GM ones I gave up and fitted front calipers to the back to eliminate the E brake part.
