Default gluing top wood

1930 2-door ford sedan installing all new top wood do you gentlemen recommend gluing the wood where there is wood to wood, and do you recommend putting a water sealanton the on the wood , I have the hardware installation kit but no instructions on where the nuts and bolts go please Help Dom

It depends. Several areas of wood are manufactured in multiple pieces where originally they were one piece. I like to laminate those pieces together for additional strength however many joints are just screwed together. Yes, we also put sealant on the wood.
