Keith, I'm sorry to hear of your wife passing. Losing someone you've been with that long has to be a tough situation to cope with. Maybe you can ease your mind a bit by spending some time with close family members, or doing some needed work on your '35 Ford.

Keith and I chatted last night - first time for both of us . . . was a great conversation and I look forward to meeting my new found Columbus friend. He's currently going through a 37 21 stud engine - as a potential 'backup'. Anyway, it is always fun to meet new people and embellish each other's lives . . . not other point in living now is there.

Though we have never met, you are part of our brotherhood and we all care about our friends even if it is only over the internet. Please let your heart be lifted knowing that you family and friends are thinking about you at this time! Peace be with you!

Keith, I'm so sorry for your loss.
I just lost my father who was '82.
I'm right over in Grove City, so maybe we could get together for lunch with BoredandStroked sometime soon.

That has to be tough. Condolences to you. Take care of yourself. Get out among friends, even if you don't feel like it. Hopefully some of them and your family will be there to help you out in the coming months.

So sorry to hear of your loss Kieth. I just lost my wife of 53 yrs this past May.
It Sucks! That said we have to honor our mate by moving on. My wife always joked about this day and we agreed that we would be strong and move on.I told my wife if I went before her to give me a week and then move on and she said “ you mean I have to miss bridge for a whole week” Her humor!
Try to hang your hat on the 65 yrs you enjoyed together rather than the few lost.we can’t change what is. I know exactly what you’re going thru and hope you will stay busy, it does help.
Regards, Don

So sorry Keith. Just be thankful you had all those great years together and maybe you will reconnect in the afterlife.

I for one cannot properly express my condolences, after 65 years you have not lost a wife you have lost a friend and partner. Remember all the times you shared, good and bad and your faith will get you though. My prayers to you and your family.
