Default 302 head question

greetings fellow barners!...do any of you fellows know what would be involved in swapping a set of 1971 302 heads onto a 1990 302 motor?.."thanks in advance for any info!

the rocker arms are different so you would need 71 pushrods.

I'm with Jeff.There is absolutely no benefit in using older heads on that engine. The lest that must be done is upfit the heads to run properly on leaded gas. If you want to upgrade your engine than look for Mustang Gt heads with E7TZ casting numbers. Those will be a much better choice. But, bottom line it is you car and your choice in the end.
