Check the yoke on the rear end for galling in the cup seats. Every thing can be tight but it will vibrate under load. I had the same vibration problem. A new yoke fixed it.

For your info, there is room in the tail shaft housing for 2 bearings. Really helps prolong yoke life.

You will most likely want to install a short throw shift adapter eventually. They really make shifting a pleasure. You can buy them but it is quite easy to make one.
With a 14 inch stick, the knob moves 4 inches from 1st to 2nd.
