Question Boot for shifter and Brake 1952 F-6

Has anyone found a boot for the shifter and parking brake on a truck? I'm looking to close in the gaping hole in the floor between the two. I also need one for the PTO lever too. Are these available anywhere? Google and the search function above aren't hitting anything....

I think it's the same cab as my F3. NPD and other's have the shifter boots.

They generally just had cut outs in the floor mat. I don't recall any boots but there may have been. The trucks were older when I started driving them. There were variations in PTO controls too. Some were cable operated and some were lever operated. It depends on the manufacture of the dump box for those.

I think rotorwrench is correct. I looked in the parts book and it only shows trans
and hand brake boots for the cab-over not the conventional. Also the picture
they showed of the conventional had a floor mat but no boots.

I had a choice unmolested F6. The shifter came out with no boot, but under the removable floor/trans cover was a big rubber ring, a bit bigger and the same shape as a toilet ring. The park brake had one of the same material and both were glued to the bottom of the removable floor. The PTO had nothing, but a guy could make one of carpet or jute shaped like lips and screw it to the floor.

The one that 1952 Henry posted is what's in my F3. It also has the big rubber/foam doughnut under the cover plate.

My hand brake lever didn't have any kind of boot when I got the truck and I don't have a PTO. I'm sure a generic boot would work if desired.

Well, I was hoping that someone had come up with a dual boot that works. My floor looks like a chainsaw murderer went after it. There are big gaps and little plates all over except between the gear shift and the brake. I use that big hole to tell me when I have left the parking brake on because it fills the cab with smoke through the hole. Fearing lung cancer, I feel I should close the hole, or rig up an indicator on the hand brake with a loud screaming alarm. Closing the hole is my first choice. I don't have a floor mat in my truck. It appears to have been a work truck for a long time and I continue to use it that way. After I put the new engine and transmission in, maybe I'll get fancy and buy a mat. I'll get something to work. I see there are twin boots for Jeeps. Hate to spoil the truck with a Jeep part though.....

If you aren't worried about a Dearborn-level resto, take a look at this solution from a guy on FTE:

A boot from any 4x4 lever is what I used dime a dozen in the junk yard..

Yes, that is one I was looking at for a Jeep. I'm going to put the brake onto the tranny and measure the distance between levers this weekend. I think that one will work. This is definitely not a Dearborn-level resto. Its just a fun truck to drive and use. After I retire I might consider a resto, but first I have a '51 F1 that's getting the hot rod treatment. Power steering, Disc brakes on a Mustang 2 front end and a warmed up 351 Cleveland wedged between the frame rails.
