Default Not A...but another T comes home.

In 2010 I found two Model T's on C.L in Bedford Va. Brought them home in the snow. The Family had a 3rd T there Dad had restored in 1959 and drove it the last time on New Years Eve 1999.The engine took to Knocking and they pushed it to the barn. He became ill and Passed a year later so the car was never fixed.
2 weeks ago the T came up on C.l. I emailed the owner but it was too late.He just listed it on flea-bay. I did bid but lost it. I told the owner if you have problems with the winner to call me. 2 days later I get the call!
When I was 30 miles away from picking up the car....it started Snowing until the T was on the trailer. The 3 sisters are together again!

I always liked the Model T. The Model A is "driveable" and sort of keeps up with traffic - but the Model T is a MACHINE.

And I like machines.

Good luck with these. MOst of the Model Ts in New England are either restored, or B25 Bombers, or iron ore in some farmer's backyard.

I like Model T's, and I'd have a '26-'27 coupe if my wife would allow it, I had a place to store it, I knew how to drive it, and modern traffic wasn't in such a crazy hurry. Three of those conditions are surmountable; I'll let you guess what #4 is.

These look great to restore. I am glad you are saving them from becoming scrap metal and I know they will be on the road in the future. Enjoy the journey.

The Touring car with no back body is on Youtube showing the first start in 60 years.
She has new tires and I drive her around. Will add a pickup bed to it soon.
I do know where a T is in a shed,parked there in 36. It's on my list.
