I was looking for a truck and come across this AA dump truck. I really am not in the market for a dump truck but this is close to home so it got me thinking. anyway...is the dump bed worth much if it was removed and sold off?

what else can you tell me about this beauty

I don't what to tell ya.... i am in the same boat.. but seller wants $2,000.00 for what i have not seen yet.. 2 weeks i'll find out on a AA dump truck]. I have learned today in the other side of the barn is a 1935 Chevy coupe [ all original except a 60's paint job...] see whats that's all about too. Seller said all was working well in 1970 before putting it to rest[the dump truck.

Hello Andrew,
For me the price of the truck is way to high, you will not gain much by selling off the dump bed, anybody wanting it would have to be close to you to buy it, it would also have to have a powered lift mechanism to make it worthwhile to a buyer, the chassis was also cut to enable the dump bed to be installed which makes it more of a challenge to convert to a correct looking platform truck.
With the unknowns such as a seized engine, transmission, brakes, tank condition you will still have much body work to deal with, the doors do not appear to be 28-29?, if it could be driven some one could give you a better idea as to value.
