Re: Ear Piercing Squeal
Ford 3,
There were so many ideas on my squeal that I did get mixed up on who suggested what. My thanks to Randy in Illinois and to all of you responders. It seems that when I run into a problem that I have no idea how to solve, several of you guys have had that problem too. Thanks again for all your help Marty |

Re: Ear Piercing Squeal
It doesn't. Matter who was right first. We all had the train of thought on the problm. And gave suggestions. And you fixed it. Thats what the ford barn is about

Re: Ear Piercing Squeal
Marty, be sure to use a file and dress off the mounting flange of the carb. Tillotsons' are very suceptable to warping there and will continue to cause problems if you fail to do this. I have noticed they will warp in use just because of the heat changes in the close proximity of the carb.
