Default 50 F1 ignition switch.

Can anyone tell me how the ignition switch worked ?
It seams to be in the off position, where you can take the key out, in the center position, and it turns to the right or left.
So what happens when you turn it right or left ?
I'm assuming you turned it one way to power the coil, and then push the button on the dash to start the pickup, so what's the other way ?

Correct again as long as you have accessories.

Your ignition switch is aftermarket from the looks of the collar. It looks like the one I purchased from NAPA and installed on my 48 twelve years ago
