Default Early Model Radiator and Gas Caps

Can anyone tell me how to identify the early AR Radiator and Gas caps. Seems like I remember that there was a difference in the AR ones versus later ones.

Early caps were either low domed or high domed. The high domed caps were actually spot welded together, which should be visible inside the caps.

Here are a couple of gas cap pictures. The first is of an early 1928 cap, the second is the later version, 1928-1929.

The Judging Standards has drawings on page 15-8 Revised 2016.

The early ones are spot welded with an almost flat dome, the later caps are soldered with a higher dome.
