Default Wheel alignment

I don't mind a little side to side wobble but I don't like the up and down.
How much is acceptable? I am going to have an overdrive so I want as little as possible but how much is too much?
Has anyone tried to straighten?

Any wobble is to much. Up and down? Your front end should be tight no looseness
Check all joints! Wishbone ball, king pins, tie rod ends, steering balls, pitman arm
wheel bearings,etc.

Wheel with no tire on it. Spin the wheel and you have up and down runout or you have side to side runout or both. The up and down will make a true tire bounce. Side to side, I don't think is as critical.
Now, how much is too much?

I would want 1/8" or less for either measurement.

Cars sitting in one place for too many years will make the tires go out of round and cause up and down bounce when driven. Driving, especially on hot roads in summer tends to straighten them out. Worked for my tires after the car sat for 19 yrs.
