Leak less water pumps and 2 blade aluminum fans
I have to replace the water pump on my late 29 Coupe. And while doing so I'll replace the original fan with a 2 blade aluminum. Any opinions on who makes the best leak less water pumps and 2 blade aluminum fans? Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Leak less water pumps and 2 blade aluminum fans
Snyder's makes the aluminum fans, and all the ones I've checked during the past 3 years have been very good.
As far as a leakless pump, the most reliable and leakless pump is the original design with a good shaft and 2 lead packing rings smeared with grease. I never leaked a drop in 10 years, and last fall I took it apart and installed a rear brass bushing with a seal in the rear of it. This will help to make sure the grease doesn't enter the coolant, and the coolant doesn't enter the grease. |

I have a James Rupert pump in my rig. Couldn't ask for a more dependable pump. Not a drop in 3 years since I put it in.

I used a Snyders fan. I'm happy with it. |
