hard to comment on............auction is still running, so you have no final price.

True...

What about the build quality....as far as you can tell?

....or, any other comments.

If it sold for current price, I might even place a bid!

You put down your $$ and take your chances......especially with a custom, one off vehicle.

I’m a stock Model A guy, but this looks interesting to me.

Having said that. I wouldn’t buy anything that I had not personally seen and touched.

But, it is interesting.

Enjoy.

I wonder what they used for the rear support and what transmission is installed. The old traditional way was the 1932 Ford K-member with pedals and a later edition of the 91A type transmission. There are another couple of less traditional AV8 set ups or it could be completely fabricated.

The steering looks like they went the street rod way with the front end but it's hard to tell for sure what all they might have there. I would have gone a different route with the electrical wiring myself. To each there own.

Nice car and from description and photos it looks like it is built well. It would be a nice car to drive. As others have said, it would be best to inspect it in person if possible. I see cars like this come up now and then and the asking price is about $25,000. There could be several bidders lurking ready to pounce at the last moment. The danger with an auction is that the price can get out of hand real quick at the end when it becomes a contest to try to outbid the other guy.

If it was me I would have a price in mind and not go above that. You can always wait for a car like this to come up on Craigslist.org. I check Craigslist in various cities across the country on a daily basis. See https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/c...415901558.html

Even though there are things that have been changed, like the Model B grill and who knows what wheels are used......but, the appeal is it has the look of a car from the period. It has the look of a stock car, without the gaudiness of most hot rods.

Yeah, I saw that......IMHO, it was a very good deal, but my common sense kicked in and didn't bid! I have my hands full with my 28ccpu.

Interesting rig, fair price considering the cost of the build.

Vinyl seats are a bit of a turn-off but that's just me....

I concur that $17K is probably a pretty good deal for that car. But, we do not know the details of the build.
