I hope the will be of help to those of you considering this 95% filtration mod. I have been running this system for 1700 miles with 3 oil changes. No mess when changing the filter and easy access. The AutoMeter direct read gauge is great very good to have, right in front of you.
how does this set up clear your throttle linkage? got a well lite photo? thanks.

Three oil changes in 1700 miles? If you keep this up, you don't need a filter. The installation looks to be very well done though.

Remote Oil Filter Position 1937 RHD Ford Coup’e
Hello Ford Nut and Tubman, the following photographs show, I suggest, that this filter mount will work with both RHD and LHD 37 Ford V8’s. The accelerator cross shaft can be accommodated in a LHD, look at the position of the upper foot board fold in the firewall left and right. The LHD may require the mount to be reduced slightly in height but the is 1.75” clearance under the large Ryco Z9 filter on my build. Or the remote filter could be mounted on the RH side chassis rail, running the hoses across the back of the block.
The 3 filter changes in 1700 miles were because the 1937 221” was on it’s first run after major overhaul. The process was 45 minutes on startup with Penrite Run In Oil and then filter and oil changed. After a further 350 miles on Penrite Run In Oil and Z9 filter, I then changed to Penrite 15W60 with another Z9 new filter. All good.
