Default Good shock cores

Does anyone have any good shocks, that need to be rebuilt, for sale?
Also, who would you recommend to do the rebuild?
Thanks for any help on this.

You can find shocks and the prices are all over the map. I have paid too much and also gotten them very cheaply. The difficulty is that you will end up buying some that cannot be rebuilt.

I bought some off of FB that were repros and could not be rebuilt. I was told they were originals and they were not. The seller never owned up to that and I threw my money away.

At least half, if not more, of the old ones out there cannot be rebuilt, either. The rebuilders sometimes have extras. I have four with Robert Paul now getting rebuilt and they should be done soon.

I understand that Bill Stipe is once again taking orders. His shocks are exceptional, not cheap but you get what you pay for. I am totally satisfied with mine and my mechanic says they are better than the originals.
