Default Paint for steering wheel

The steering wheel on my '52 F1 is solid - no cracks or crevices but it is dull and has some of the finish chipped off. If I clean this up really well, what would be a good paint (black) to use on it? Thanks for your recommendations!!!

POR15 has a good durable steering wheel paint.

I've had good luck with Krylon Fusion gloss black. It's made to go over plastics and comes in a spray can.

I used PPG Concept single stage black on my 49 F-1 wheel. Same for running boards and bumpers. Easy to spray, expensive and worth it!
