Default 1921 Dash Board issue..NEED HELP !!!

Finally starting to assemble this roadster and I find a problem with how the dash fits up. Am I doing something wrong ? The top bolt that holds windshield bracket also holds dash panel, I have a gap of about 3/4" between the tab on the dash and the bracket. Bracket seems to be in right spot for windshield to line up with top of cowl and the bracket. Is there a spacer to fill the gap or have I gotten the dash in wrong ?

The top edge fits behind the lip on the cowl not in front like you have it.
