Model B carbs are designed for the GAV to be turned completely closed once the engine is warmed up.

I have a late 31, so I was able to flush the tank pretty easily. Then I installed a dirty leg, which is working great. I'm not sure how you would flush a "prototype" tank, with the gas valve inside?

Should the GAV on a Model A carb, (Zenith) shut off the fuel to the engine if turned all the way in?
Thanks for your time.
