stumbling then soomths out
Went for ride yesterday morning and the car cranked first hit and out of the garage we went,Got a mile or so and it started to stumble can run rough.and skip like it was running out of gas. Got to the store and started back home.Skipped and poped a little out of parking lot a mile down the road it finally smoothed out.Went on to ay Mom house.After a couple hours left for home ran like it used to fine.Crazy.Bad fuel filter or trash in carb Help need Thanks

Check your ignition. An ignition problem will often mimic a fuel problem.

Had that to happen a couple of times with my 47 Ford coupe. While driving around 40 to
45 MPH I would down shift to 2nd gear and hold the 40 to 45 MPH steady for about a block and then shift to high gear. It would smooth out. what was happening was the car was loading up and fouling out the plugs. Check your plugs.
