Default 59-A fuel pump push rod bushing

Tearing down a 59-A for rebuild when I removed the fuel pump push rod
bushing the last person working on it removed about 1/2 inch from the
bottom. More oil to the rear cam bearing-? I know it has been apart before
cylinders are .030 over. Any ideas should I shorten the new one-?
Thanks for any input.

Is the oil passage uncovered?

Thought that it was the 8BA that had the oil passage to lubricate the pushrod
thru the bushing, not the 59A. ?

The whole bushing should be installed.
It's possible someone installed a non Ford bushing in the past.
