Default Removing front windshield for roadster storage.

I have too many toys and parking them in Las Vegas sun is the last thing I want to do.
I do have 10' tall garage and with the lift I was able to park my convertible and sedan on 2-levels.
Now convertible is gone and I would like to do it with roadster, who will not be driven in summer months due to weather.
I measured and with front windshield frame removed and steering wheel removed I am within 2" of fitting the height.
I took a look at windshield frame and looks like all it has are 3 bolts on each side, so looking easy.
Now steering wheel has big nut on the center and smaller bolts around.
How da heck that work?
Better would be steering column tilt or removal, but looks like lot of work involved.
Anybody did such thing on his roadster ?

One nut holds the steering wheel on or just unscrew the cover under the wheel

It works.
Removing T's steering wheel took about 20 seconds, when hardest part to remove the windshield frame was removal of interior liners, but I spend about 1hr to lower my PWC to clear the opening door.
