Default Unusual Spare tire carrier

Anyone ever seen one like this. It is cast material. It is on a 1930 Coupe that was refurbished about 25 years ago. The car owner says it was on the car when he bought it.

Yes that is a cast number but it is not a Model A number.

It’s a 35 coupe, roadster, cabriolet bracket. It would have a 48- parts prefix.

1935 was the last year for wire wheels and it has the V-shape like that. Ford went to wide 5 wheels after 1935.

Yes, but the 35 bracket is different than the 32’ and 33-34’ bracket. 36 is completely different.
