Ford Barn responding slowly
Am I the only one that is having an issue with the Barn responding slowly? It has been very slow to respond the last few days and getting worse.

Re: Ford Barn responding slowly
Same results on my end. I have been re-booting my computer thinking it was my machine.

Re: Ford Barn responding slowly
Whew! I'm glad you posted this. I just changed anti-virus software and thought it was causing the slowdown.

Re: Ford Barn responding slowly
Mine has been slow also. Tried a few different computer things to fix it. It didn't fix. Glad to know I am not the only one.

Re: Ford Barn responding slowly
It's probably your browser or your provider that is slow. Are you on a dial up? Sometimes the phone lines used for dial up get clogged with too many users and you can get noise in the lines. If you are on a modem, cable or wireless, other people can use your lines unless you block it out. Itis more than likely your browser or internet provider and you might have to clear your cache.
Tons of people are experiencing slow internet right now. So, it's not just the Ford Barn and The H.A.M.B.

Re: Ford Barn responding slowly
Yep, used to take .3 seconds to load now sometimes it's as long a 3 seconds.

Re: Ford Barn responding slowly
Not the provider. I have a 100Gb fiber connection and the Fordbarn is the only site dragging it's feet.

I'm sure Ryan is working on corrections because a few members have dial up issues!

Re: Ford Barn responding slowly
Probably software or network hardware on the server being used by Fordbarn and Hamb is the problem. As a retired IT director who used to be in charge of 9 servers and all their software hardware and networks I can tell you it is often not a trivial issue to solve. Just be patient!

Re: Ford Barn responding slowly
I have broadband and it has been an issue for at least three days. Other forums are normal.
