I have to have this part!
Saw this cover on YouTube from a guy in Italy. I have to have this! Anyone know where I can get one please? I have searched for weeks with no leads. Even Charlie Yapp was asking, but he doesn't speak Italian and neither do I.

Re: I have to have this part!
It goes on the side of the engine under the water inlet. Think they are made by a guy here in Oz.

Re: I have to have this part!
I would LOVE to have the 'part' as well. Let us KNOW if and when you can find it. Post in under the SAME heading, or - 'GOTTA HAVE this PART'.

Re: I have to have this part!
If you can make a wooden one you can likely get it cast in aluminum.
I know that sounds like a wild thing but I get pieces cast often in aluminum and bronze. Harder to get short runs than it used to be …everyone is behind these days it seems |

Re: I have to have this part!
Is there any kind of reaction when you use an aluminum side cover on a cast iron block?

Re: I have to have this part!
Aluminum would react with stainless steel, but not cast iron – and anyway, the block should be painted, so the only points of contact would be the fasteners. So don't use stainless steel bolts.

Re: I have to have this part!
Secrets of speed has one of those type side plates but it doesn't have "4-Banger" on it. I think is has the Lion head on there. It mentions that when they are out of stock then they are all gone. I don't see a need for one myself. It's just another leak point.

Re: I have to have this part!
This part can be easily made without the logo by a machine shop using a 1/2" thick billet of 6061 Aluminum Alloy.
