Default Studs for offset gen bracket

Looking for a source for long studs to mount an offset gen bracket on a 59 engine w/almn heads. Any NOS sources, no interested in imported stuff. How would G8 cap screws work ? Those are easy to find.

The brackets I have purchased came with the studs. Roy should have any length stud you would need, or ARP. You can purchase grade 8 bolts in about any length you want (online or at a supplier, not at a hardware store).

On the studs that'll mount the bracket, use long nuts instead of the stock nuts. Once they're torqued down, you can use bolts through the bracket and into the top portion of these long nuts, because they'll have clear threads. Hope this make sense.

Thank you both. The long nuts is the way to go, just have to find a source for 7/16 SAE long nuts. Any ideas ?

Any suggestions for sources to find 7/16-20 SAE fine long nuts. Checked McMaster Carr, at $21.00 each, that's a little insane.

Thank you all for your help. The local Fastenal store got them from their warehouse for me, 7/16-20, SAE, 1&1/4" OAL, 5/8 wrench size, steel, not sue yet of grade yet, but has an ASTM spec. $3.00 each and some change through the companies account for future reference.
