Default '42 - '48 Sedan Delivery 'B' pillar wood

Does anybody know where I could source replacement 'B' pillar wood for behind the front doors of my Sedan Delivery?

Thanks in advance,

Meric

Can't help you with your request, but thought that I would add these photos of a 1947 Ford Sedan Delivery that was for sale at Pleasanton last year. It was in great condition bodywise and reasonably priced, but had Corvette Suspension.
As such, with Australian Laws and Modified Cars, we would never have been granted permission to import it to Australia, so had to walk away from a good deal.

Thanks for the pic's, looks pretty solid in the body. We have similar problems importing modified vehicles. We can import them no problem but getting them certified to drive here is another story altogether. I have an option on a '50 Mercury coupe that has OHV Lincoln running gear. It's a really nice car but I don't need the problems with trying to certify a US modified vehicle in NZ :P

This 1946 Ford Sedan Delivery now resides in Australia. Ford Australia made a similar vehicle that they called a Panel Van.
The Australian examples are nowhere as good looking as the American models.

Here is a picture of an Australian 1948 Ford Panel Van with added side door and windows. It may have been an Ambulance in a previous life? Photo taken back in 1989 when this Wrecking Yard was having an Clearance Auction, as the land had been sold to Developers.
