Parts vendors
After playing with the Model A's for 40 years,I just don't know the vendors for the early V8 stuff.I do work on quite a few of them for customers, but they all bring me their own parts.I guess what I am looking for are the vendors that are the equivalent of Snyders,Brattons,Mikes,Berts Model A vendors but in the V8 world.

Re: Parts vendors
Hi Everyone. For the original old Ford stuff I've had excellent experience with Michael Driskell, here's his member page. https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/member.php?u=7302 He also sells a lot through ebay, here's his page there. https://www.ebay.com/usr/1935fordtn?...p2047675.l2559
C&G is another vendor I've used with good results, nice website, easy. But you get repro stuff. https://cgfordparts.com/

Re: Parts vendors
Don't forget "Southside Obsolete", "barnfind08" here on the "Barn". He's a good source for NOS parts.

Re: Parts vendors
Sacramento ford does nice wire harnesses.
https://www.vintageford.com/ If you need other wires in bulk, you make up the ends. Little hotrodish site, but decent stuff. https://www.thehotrodcompany.com/ Of course Bubba and Skip are fundamental. Last edited by Tinker; 04-04-2019 at 07:59 PM. |

Re: Parts vendors
Joe's is on the top of my list. I find his prices very reasonable and he won't sell you something you don't need.

Re: Parts vendors
Seth nailed it with that solid list. Venders in general are only as good as the knowledge they can also pass along to the hobby with the parts they support.
Quoting Dick Spadaro "price is important, but experience counts more" Joe has a spot @ the Fitchburg swap, come down he usually has his latest catalog available and always talking Flatheads. |

Re: Parts vendors
This is a little different, cause mostly just 49-51 car stuff. I don't know if I've ever complimented Shoebox Central on here. Just got another box from them today; they ship instantly, never been out of stock on anything I've purchased from their website. Packaging is superb. Website is easy to negotiate. They seem to sell the same stuff others do, but operate in a most excellent fashion.......my experience.

Re: Parts vendors
You'll probably get overnight USPS from Joe's in MA. Except for a few parts from Bob Drake and Van Pelt, Joes is my go to vendor. You'll enjoy the interaction on the phone with the folks who take your order and they usually head to the EV8 swap meet in Fitchburg MA the last week of April. Really good folks to deal with, small operation but have everything you’ll need.
